Stop the presses, Warney is (still) retired

<p class="MsoNormal">Forever ever? Forever ever? Ever, ever? Ever, ever? Ever, ever?
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Yes Kanye, forever.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Warne will never play for Australia in a test match again.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">I am willing to bet my favourite pair of shorts on it.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">That’s right.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Why?
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Because Australia does not ask ex champions to come back.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Pause, for people who remember Bob Simpson to go, yes they do.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Other than Bob Simpson, I can’t think of an ex champ who has been out of the game, who Australia has asked to come back during the modern era.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Australia doesn’t look into the past.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Some countries do.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">That is there business, here the team comes first, and the team will not be helped by Warne coming back for one series.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">The same as if Clark gets injured they won’t ask McGrath back.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Or if Haddin continues to fumble and not make scores they wont ask Gilly back.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">We will either pick a ready made 30+ year old, or pick a young guy and groom him.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">There will be no digging through retirees.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Shane Warne will not be asked to return.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">And he doesn’t even want to come back.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Plus, most importantly, why should he come back for the ashes?
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">At this stage the two most important tours are before that against India and South Africa.
<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">Warne is retired, and I want to hear no more on the subject.
<p class="MsoNormal">That goes for media, family, friends and Tony Greig.

<p class="MsoNormal">
<p class="MsoNormal">
