ICC rankings explained

After decimating New Zealand in a very unconvincing manner England are now the undisputed number 3 side on world cricket.

Until they play South Africa.

Ofcourse all sides are so far behind Australia that second place means sweet fuck all.

Only recently Sri Lanka came to Australia as the number two side.

Then they got pantsed.

Then England flew to Sri Lanka, and they got pantsed.

Then they win 2 series against the 7th ranked side, and now they are a bees pecker from 2nd spot.

I won’t pretend to understand it.

Jimmy Anderson has also catapulted up the rankings to number 26.

His highest ever ranking.

Uhum.

He is behind such brilliant bowlers as Kallis and Umar Gul.

A mere 18 spots behind him is Mitchell Johnson.

But the biggest surprise on the list is Rawl Lewis, he is at number 95.

How could he get into the top 1000?

Daniel Flynn however could not make the top 100 batsmen.

Harbhjan Singh, did at 99.
