Surely not Collingwood, as his form is one step above Vaughan’s plus he seems a pretty rubbish captain in One Day cricket.
Surely not KP, as he is South African and clearly suffers from ADD.
Surely not Strauss, as it would be too obvious.
Surely not Ian Bell, ginger hair.
Surely not Freddie, see last ashes.
Surely not Cook, eyeliner.
Surely not any of the bowlers, because they are bowlers.
So obviously it must be Tim Ambrose.
He is stoic, bald, and pale.
Surely those are traits that get you half way to the English captaincy.
I also have it on dodgy authority that he captained the Beenleigh under 12’s to a premiership once.
The only downside I can see is that he didn’t go to a public school.
