Mitchell, onto the list, there's a good boy

Brett Lee’s first 5 overs went for 8.

Stuart Clark’s first 6 overs went for 9.

Mitchell Johnson’s first 6 overs went for 26.

If Australia win this test, they will have won this series with 2 front line bowlers, which is pretty much what they did against India.

The selectors don’t want to admit they are wrong with Mitchell Johnson.

Yes he is a left armer.

Yes he bowls pretty quick.

Yes he is capable of reverse swing.

And yes he has the potential to become a superstar.

So go let him take some freakin wickets in first class cricket.

The only job he performs in test cricket is to get the opposition's eye in.

Just drop him.

For his sake, if not for everyone else.

After being hit for a boundary he stands at the wicket this those big puppy dog eyes and you want to jump through the screen and give him a hug.

It’s not like he will disappear off the radar, his one day form is more than adequate, and there is no reason to dump him from there.

But he is 8 tests in now.

And he is regressing.

Noffke is dying to prove my animatrix theory incorrect.

Bollinger is dying to test his new hair.

With the Frank in the bank, yeah I am that clever, why not try a new bowler.

Mitchell, this isn’t about you, it’s about the selectors. You and your weirdly quasimodoesque run up don’t bother me that much, it’s the fact you won’t get injured or dropped that pisses me off.

But you’re still going on the list of players we don’t like.

It’s for your own good.

Monty took an actual haul after going on the list.

Noffke made an Australian squad

Beau Casson is about to debut.

Katich & Hodgey made come backs.

And Shane Watson has been much less of a jelly bean after his listing.

Oh, and since I'm going to bed now, if you take the last 7 wickets and make me look like a fool, you still go on the list for being a smart ass.www.cricketwithballs.com

Now with new proper english lady blogger.
