session update lunch day five

...
The first session is over, Hussey made runs, Roy did his job, Rick(Y) made more odd choices and Jaffer continued to fail.

This was the best innings I have seen from King Probot, he grafted like only his kind can, and he hit out like a true Probot, controlled and calculated. Yesterday I said he needed to score runs to prove his mettle, he did. As for Michael Clarke, he is on my list.

Roy was destructive, even with every player on the boundary and Anil coming from around the wicket he was smashing boundaries. Big test for him this one, but will his ankle allow him to bowl?

Rick(y) may be batting terrible against Harbhajan, but his captaincy, never his greatest skill, has been pretty average this test. Not bowling Clark or Hogg much, but giving the ball to Johnson was odd. But this declaration seems like hard work.

Two sessions to get India out on a pitch where Laxman and Tendulkar would like to be cremated, seems like a MC Hammer decision to me.

I believe Jaffer can bat. But right at the moment he needs a coach, or a hypnotist, perhaps both. He looks uglier than Tori Spelling without make up outside off, and at this stage he couldn’t find the runs with an @ss full of diarrhoea.

I’m still saying draw, but sides do like to Fail against Australia, so you never know.

This is my last report for the game as tonight I’m having my birthday at the Vics 2020 big bash against the NSWelsh.www.cricketwithballs.com "the hooking & pulling specialists"
