session update tea day four

Firstly let me say Michael Clarke is batting like a once in a generation cricketer.

And I’m not even taking the p1ss. Ok I’m taking it a little bit.

But he his batting really well, he has looked by far the most comfortable of all the top order, although Roy didn’t get much chance to show his stuff.

India have bowled pretty damn well all day, but to Clarke they either got their plans wrong, or thought they wouldn’t need a plan for him.

Either way, he has faced an amazing amount of half volleys, most of which have been dispatched.

Mike Hussey looked a little better after the break, but his constant I’m under real pressure here facial expressions eventually forced Rauf to forget he was umpiring at the Waca again.

Then like a brilliant p1ss taker, Billy chirped in with a bat before wicket decision against Roy. Who was still angry, even though he’s had 8 times more luck than Damien Martyn had in his career.

Anil Kumble must have seen the huge inside edge, but still decided to appeal.

I say Australia should send India home for playing outside the spirit of cricket and I think Vinod Kambli should be brought in as captain.

I am burning an effigy as Billy Bowden that I drew on a napkin as we speak.

The less said about Gilly being bowled around his legs by the amazingly bald Sehwag the better.

How many real off spin bowlers (murali not included) can bowl laft handers around their legs.

Saw Symcox do it to Bevan once, not sure what that means.

After that wicket Kumble seemed to abuse Ganguly for not rushing in to join the celebrations. Today I have seen Ganguly on the boundary and under the helmet, is Kumble trying to give us subtle messages about Sourav’s commitment.

Brett Lee came and went quickly, like a good bowling all rounder should.

Imagine how funny it would be if Clarke made a big score and guided the team home, what record speed could I delete my teddy bears post.

Luckily for me the tail wont stay with him.www.cricketwithballs.com "the hooking & pulling specialists"
