session update all over day four

How fitting that the test ends with Tait getting bowled.

But lets talk about Clarke, I mentioned how good he was batting, but I never mentioned how in control of his innings he looked.

Now I wont mention it, cause he danced down the wicket to a ball from Kumble that he really could have stayed at home and played.

He could have waited for Kumble to let go of it at least.

At the time I just thought ah well.

But then with Johnson making a not out 50 with a lot of luck and Clark making a 30, you’d have to say Clarke missed a big chance.

The Indians bowled well to everyone not named Clark(e) and Johnson.

Their bowling to swinging tail enders was almost as stupid as you can get, that was until Pathan came on, and perhaps even a word in his ear from Ganguly helped and he bowled properly.

How great are tail enders though, Stuart Clark is a very capable bowler, but he isn’t entertaining, but give him a bat and it’s like he finds a personality.

Every time I see him bat he focuses on a new shot, today was the pull shot.

India closed out the test match, they out played Australia, but it if they don’t beat Australia in the next test, all that happens is this match becomes a statistical anomaly.

India deserved the win, but you feel Australia have a lot more improvement in them, form and selection wise, for the next test.www.cricketwithballs.com "the hooking & pulling specialists"
