there once was a session

Ponting looked untouchable, then he played on.

Katich looked dogged, and then Boucher got him out LB, well he was the only one who appealed.

Kallis dropped Clarke.

Hussey grafted like his children were being held captive and the only way to keep them alive was by not going out.

The South African bowlers looked flat, tired, and hot (overheated).

Only Kallis looked good with the ball, he was hard to get away, and regularly looked like getting wickets.

Australia took very few chances, but they got over 300 runs in front without to many problems.

The pitch is keeping low, with the odd onepopping up like a teenager at a nudie bar, but South Africa haven't bowled straight enough to use it to full advantage.

Now we see how gutsy Australia are with their declaration.
