Ricky’s word for India: PICK

Some Indian fans thought this Australian team was quieter than normal.

Since then Ponting and Hayden have made a handful of odd statements, making everyone feel more comfortable.

Ponting was trying to PICK a fight with everyone in India at one stage.

It really isn’t his strong point, I really miss Warne and McGrath, they were funny, and they pissed people off.

Punter hasn’t done either.

Also was his form in the warm up matches, everyone was talking about his stellar average of 12 in India, which is way better than Bradman’s, and whether he would be able to play Bhaji this time.

Instead he failed to PICK a Chawla wrong un, which is weird, since Piyush says it’s his stock ball.

Then he went on to team selection, who will play White or Krezja.

It looks like he wants to PICK Krezja, which would be his third bad PICK in a week.

Krezja simply cannot play.

He is not up to it, I still believe he can bowl, and may even turn into a decent offie (in the distant distant distant future), but he isn’t now.

White’s part timers may not be candy, but when teamed with his batting and fielding and taking into consideration Krejza is no certainty to take a wicket, White is the man.

And White will feel at home playing under Ponting, as Potning wont want to bowl him, and neither does White.

Ponting just needs to PICK the right time to bring him on, when Australia need one wicket to win with 600 runs in front is an example of one of those times.

Also while he is at it, can he PICK some of those arm hairs out, some of us like to eat and watch the cricket.www.cricketwithballs.com... Aussie Haiku straight to your box
