5th @ tea

India looked alright after the break.

Runs came, chances were minimal, and everyone was happy.

Ofcourse Gotham City missed an offcutter and was clean bowled, so that was less than good.

Johnson has bowled good this test, almost good enough to ignore the tongue ring, almost.

Then Tendulkar and VVS steadied the ship, it was boring in a sense, but is was thrilling as well, you know the old boring yet thrilling type deal.

Clarke bowled ok, and most of the quicks looked good when they came out.

The big surprise was when White was finally given the ball, cause his first over was shit hot.

There was the edge that wasn’t an edge, and a bunch of walls that were well executed, White could never be accused of being a stupid bowler, but his execution is pretty ordinary at times.

How Ordinary, well if he was an executioner, there would be times the head would come off, but only after he cut off a few other limbs, and many other times where he failed to hit the body at all.

He continued to bowl well and get no wickets.

VVS and Sachin continued to blunt the attack and dig out the odd lower ball.

There seems to be no hope of India winning, or more importantly going for the win.

And the chances of Australia winning are not much better.

For all the talk about this pitch playing tricks, how many have there been, it played low earlier than normal, that is true, but it hasn't got much lower since then.

Only one ball has hit a crack and seriously deviated causing a wicket.

It's just been a shit wicket to try and score on, if India had to hold on for longer they probably could.www.cricketwithballs.com... Aussie Haiku straight to your box
