Mitchell Johnson has decided to continue his snub of the IPL.
His reason is because he has been over worked, and having the time off last year helped his body.
We know the real reason is that he is afraid Jessica Bratich may end up with a West Coast Eagles player.
But i digress.
Johnson was Australia's best bowler last year, and he is putting that down to missing the IPL.
Good for him.
It is a risk, because how many times do you get offered near enough to a million dollars for 6 weeks work.
Mitch would be thinking that one day, when he doesn't have to carry Australia through a heavy workload, he can cash in.
And it makes sense, Ms Dhoni has already had to pull out of a test series not long after the IPL.
Other players have picked up injuries in the IPL, and have struggled with them since.
While the money is grand, there is always a chance you could get injured and not be able to represent your country.
The opposite is true as well.
Johnson may not always be this hot in the marketplace.
One big injury, and his stock plummets.
That is the good thing though, he is willing to put his country before his bank balance.
You have to wish anyone the best if they decide to put honour before cash.
And it's not like their is going to be a shortage of players willing to take up the extra spot.
