A good point was made by Samir about meta whinging on my lazy wrap up of the one day series.

It’s not just India whinging that has bugged me, and it has bugged me, but its Australia’s whinging about India’s whinging that has bugged me.

Yes I am aware that I am now whinging about Australia’s whinging about India’s whinging.

Firstly India, the team, and certain supporters have whinged like a country song from start to finish of this tour.

But so have many an English team before.

So have many a touring team, it’s a tough tour.

This time though the Australian cricket team and certain supporters have taken to a tit for tat whinging campaign the likes of which has never been seen.

Bagging Indians is the new flavour of the month in Australia, and although some Indian behavior deserves to be bagged, saying they are going home, anything bhaji says or does and Sharma’s adam apple, the rest is just over the top.

I wish I could blame Australia losing as the reason for the new found whinginess, but to be honest we are becoming a nation on whingers and losing has very little to do with it.

We used to say No worries, now we whinge more than England, still not as much as India, but perhaps we could claim their mantle of whinging in exchange for our mantle of cricket.
