And they look like closing out the Indians.
King Kumar and Sehwag are still both awesomeness on a stick.
But what was going on with Partiv Patel, the foetus with gloves on.
He went in ahead of Sachin Tendulkar, whose tennis elbow seems to be flaring up again (lighter bat, anyone?), which makes sense, sort of.
But why would VVS not go in.

Mendis was prowling.
And Patel was eaten alive.
Tendulkar followed shortly after, so either way VVS had to get India to stumps.
It would be hard to say Patel was a nightwatchman, because the way test teams go through their overs 18 overs is pretty much a session these days.
So what was he, a diversion, road kill, or an afternoon snack.
Either way it didnâ™t work, and India are looking at a pretty severe smacking unless VVS goes postal.
