Current Matches : Pakistan in Zimbabwe (2011)

Author: sam_ahmedSubject: Pakistan in Zimbabwe (2011)Posted: 19 August 2011 at 6:42pmThe Green Machine returns to action after a long break and good news coming in that Shoaib Malik has been cleared by the integrity committee and is eligible for selection in Pakistan national team. Rumours are that Malik might soon be given the captaincy once Misbah decides to retire. Malik though, at the moment, is not a part of the team touring Zimbabwe.PAK have selected quite a few young faces for this series though, botn Umer Gul and Wahab Riaz have been rested (quite strangely because PAK haven't been playing since 3 months) Sohail Tanvir comes back and Aijaz Cheema gets his first chance at int'l level. Young opener Rameez Raja has also been given an opportunity to shine (and I hope he is different from the old Rameez Raja, one of the most boring players I have ever seen). As ZIM have shown against BAN, they are no push overs and against an inexperienced PAK team they would be looking for a big upset.List of FixturesSun Aug 28 - Mon Aug 2908:00 GMT | 10:00 local13:30 IST Zimbabwe XI v PakistanisQueens Sports Club, Bulawayo   Thu Sep 1 - Mon Sep 508:00 GMT | 10:00 local13:30 IST Only Test - Zimbabwe v PakistanQueens Sports Club, Bulawayo Thu Sep 807:30 GMT | 09:30 local13:00 IST 1st ODI - Zimbabwe v PakistanQueens Sports Club, Bulawayo Sun Sep 1107:30 GMT | 09:30 local13:00 IST 2nd ODI - Zimbabwe v PakistanHarare Sports Club Wed Sep 1407:30 GMT | 09:30 local13:00 IST 3rd ODI - Zimbabwe v PakistanHarare Sports Club Fri Sep 1612:00 GMT | 14:00 local17:30 IST 1st T20 - Zimbabwe v PakistanHarare Sports Club Sun Sep 1812:00 GMT | 14:00 local17:30 IST 2nd T20 - Zimbabwe v PakistanHarare Sports Club
